Professional Business Coaching

Coaching can be pivotal in effecting change. One to one support with the right person can make all the difference in adapting to the evolving needs of organisations and sustaining momentum.

My aim is to work with you to identify areas where you want to grow and to help you map out a plan of action which is both motivating and meaningful.
About Rachel

I believe in working together to create practical and actionable solutions for professional development

Having initially worked as an employment lawyer in private practice, I moved into HR at Goldman Sachs and Freshfields.

As a lawyer, I worked with clients from the media world to financial services, acting for both individuals and large institutions. My HR roles included employee relations adviser, business partner and chief of staff to Global HR Heads.

I now work with individuals to help them clarify and shape their professional goals and to manage key transitions.

I have two teenage children and love a cold water swim and a brilliant novel.

Areas of Expertise

Decisions
& Change

Life is full of both momentary and momentous decisions. Coming to a place of resolve and clarity around choice can at times feel overwhelming. Sometimes a sense of circularity or a feeling of being stuck takes over.

Coaching can enable a release from these feelings. A safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore can lead to new insights and a greater sense of choice and freedom.

Work & Life
in Harmony

Balancing work and life is one aspect of this. Another is finding authenticity and alignment which in turn generate fulfilment.

I think for most of us, this is an area that benefits from some non-judgemental consideration from time to time, especially with a significant life or work change.

I will partner with you to allow you space to think and reflect. We will find the tools for you to achieve a more comfortable and satisfying equilibrium.

HR
Consulting

Sometimes an outside perspective is invaluable. Fresh insight can emerge from the right kind of dialogue with someone who understands the role of HR but who isn’t a part of your organisation.

I use a coaching approach to ask the right questions so we can better analyse your HR strategy. Together we can take a step back, see things with more clarity and ensure you’re well placed for what lies ahead.
My Coaching Approach

I trained with Meyler Campbell and am accredited with the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).

My experience has given me a real understanding of the depth of our relationship with work, how huge a part of our lives it can be and how instrumental to our sense of self and well-being.

Coaching can create the environment where thoughts and feelings can be articulated without judgement, allowing useful insights to emerge. My aim is to be business focused, realistic and practical, to help a coachee convert insights into practical and actionable points that they can take with them and use.

All contact with me is strictly confidential and any initial conversations are completely free of charge. I believe it is important to establish a rapport before committing to the coaching and I am happy to meet face to face at a location of your choice, online or by telephone. There is no obligation to proceed.
